Wildflowers in Cook's Meadow

This section of Cook's Meadow (located at the number 7 on the trail map) typically spends June accessorized with wildflowers. The swoopy looking Cow Parsnip (there's one in the foreground here) is the most prevalent, but there are also some large stands of Western Azalea (the big bush behind the Cow Parsnip). If you want to reward your nose for a life spent fearlessly leading your face from place to place, hang out near a stand of blooming Western Azalea - it's better than a Cinnabon food court.
