Purple Milkweed (Asclepias cordifolia) leaves

Purple Milkweed (Asclepias cordifolia)

Purple Milkweed flowers are quite small next to the plant's plus-sized leaves, any one of which is roomy enough to host an ant Woodstock. (You can see a few blooms edging into the right side of the photo.) The pink interloper at top left is Farewell to Spring.
