At 2,425 feet (739 meters), Yosemite Falls is the tallest waterfall in North America - more than ten times higher than Niagara. A thrill-seeking drop of water takes 80 seconds (at 20 mph) to fall from top to bottom, by which time it has almost certainly wet itself. There's a trail to the top of the falls that runs to the left of the falls; it leads to a viewing platform just above and to the left of the lip of the falls.
