Valley View (Gates of the Valley) at Twilight
Gates of the Valley, also known as Valley View, is an oft-photographed pullout along Northside Drive in the western end of Yosemite Valley. Highlights include El Capitan on the left, Cathedral Rocks and Bridalveil Fall (the latter takes some work to spot in this photo) on the right, and the Merced River in the foreground. Passing traffic on Northside Drive is helpfully casting accent lights on the rocks in the river.
