Sentinel Rock (7,038 feet/2,145 meters)
Sentinel Rock pokes up from the valley's south wall adjacent to Sentinel Dome. It's visible in the previous Tunnel View photo - or at least the bottom of it is; the top is hidden by clouds, but it's the next group of rocks past the Bridalveil Fall/Cathedral Rocks collection on the right side.
This photo was taken from the Tunnel View, four miles west of Sentinel Rock, with a 300-mm telephoto lens and cropped-frame camera.
