Chinese Caps (Euphorbia crenulata) flowers posing with ladybug

Chinese Caps (Euphorbia crenulata)

If someone approaches you in a bar and claims to be a professional wildflower photographer, ask to meet his pet ladybug and you'll soon learn whether he's on the level or not. No real pro goes into the field without his own Coccinellidae trained to pose on flowers and provide a sense of scale while simultaneously bumping the cuteness up to dangerous levels. He might as well go on a shoot without his camera or even his vest of many pockets.
