False Solomon's Seal (Maianthemum racemosa) flowers

False Solomon's Seal (Maianthemum racemosa)

On close examination, you can see the minimalist, all-business nature of Smilacina racemosa flowers - they're just bundles of stamens and pistils, with petals showing themselves about as frequently as Waldo1 does. Insects on the make don't need to take False Solomon's Seal out for dinner and a movie before they move in on the nectar.

1 Why's Waldo always hiding? It's certainly not because he's ashamed of being a ripoff of Where's Wallace?. The similar concept and name also starting with 'Wal'? Homage. That's all.
