If you take the route from Yosemite Valley up to the rim rather than starting from Tioga Road, you should be able to spot Hidden Falls about halfway up. Hidden Falls is a waterfall on Tenaya Creek a bit under half a mile upstream (east) from where the loop trail turns around (the loop trail is the red line on the trail map). You'll want binoculars or a telephoto for a good look at it from here - this photo was taken with a 300-millimeter telephoto lens.
