Middle Gaylor Lake is right at the foot of the hill you climbed over to get to the Gaylor Lakes basin; you'll have to veer right to avoid wading straight into it.
Cathedral Peak (10,911 feet/3,326 meters) is the rightmost mountain poking above the horizon.
