Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

This is the view eastward from near the beginning of the trail, just after you've crossed the dam and traversed the tunnel. You can see a fragment of Wapama Falls poking out from the cliffs near the left edge of the photo. The El-Capitan-like promontory stretching above the shade on the reservoir's right bank is Kolana Rock, elevation 5,770 feet (1,760 meters).
