Little Nellie Falls
The overcast conditions at the time of this photo might make it look a bit foreboding, but don't be misled - Little Nellie Falls is an undeniably pleasant spot, made more so by the absence of crowds. You'll see more people on the Mist Trail in the time it takes to read this sentence than you will on the entire Little Nellie Falls hike. Nothing against the good people laboring up the Mist Trail today, but sometimes you'd just prefer to have a waterfall all to yourself, even though the mist alone drifting off Vernal Fall may well exceed the entire volume of Little Nellie Falls.
