Washburn Point Trail Map

Hike Distance:  20 stair steps
Trailhead Elevation:  7,500 feet (2,280 meters)
Total Elevation Change:  15 feet (5 meters)

Welcome to this website's most audacious act of overkill yet: a trail map of Washburn Point. Since Google Maps doesn't have a zoom level that can isolate a single staircase, the map resorts to a solitary green pushpin to show Washburn Point's location.

This perspective does allow you to get an idea of the views you'll find at Washburn Point, though: the direct views across the abyss to Vernal and Nevada Falls (marked with blue balloons), the edge-on view of Half Dome (the yellow balloon), and the sheer dropoff to Yosemite Valley and Illilouette Gorge.

The white line that crosses the screen just to the right of Washburn Point (in real life, it would be below you) is the Panorama Trail, which starts at Glacier Point and eventually merges with the Mist Trail and goes all the way to Yosemite Valley.
