Lower Yosemite Falls Trailhead

The northwest corner of this hike takes you directly past the lower falls trailhead (located at the number 6 on the trail map). It's worth stopping here to drink in the view, which includes both the lower and upper falls. It's also worth taking the lower falls trail, only a quarter mile in length. Hike to the base of the falls in the spring and open your mouth, and drinking in the view will no longer be merely a figure of speech.
