Tufted Poppies and Popcorn Flowers in the Merced River Canyon
The sheets of white mixed in with the orange poppies are highly likely to be Popcorn Flowers, though I didn't actually swim across the Merced River and scale the canyon walls to verify it. If you know any botanists who'd like to volunteer for that sort of duty, have them get in touch.
