Bolander's Monkeyflower (Mimulus bolanderi)

The flowers of Bolander's Monkeyflower sprout in pairs vertically along the stem, with each bloom accompanied by a single leaf serving as a safety net. You can see this pattern repeated, albeit a bit less distinctly, in the plant photo.
