View from Columbia Rock

This, barring floods, meteor impacts, the death of the sun, etc., is what you'll see looking east from Columbia Rock. In the foreground is Cook's Meadow, which lies between the Yosemite Lodge and Yosemite Village. Beyond it, you can see a sliver of Ahwahnee Meadow, with the Ahwahnee Hotel lurking just beyond that. Sentinel Bridge, perhaps the valley's most popular spot for photographing Half Dome, can be seen just to the right of Cook's Meadow. Various park administration buildings are poking out through the trees at the far left of the photo.

The lump sticking above the horizon at the left edge of the photo is North Dome; the Royal Arches are visible directly below it.
