The Tunnel View, late November

Yosemite is great for photographers year round, but it doesn't really get any better than when a winter storm is breaking and there's lots of mist wafting about the place but the sun is starting to break through in spots to shine on the fresh snow. At times like these you can ask a passing squirrel to point the camera where it pleases and you'll still get an interesting shot. Especially because the squirrel will refuse and you'll have to point the camera yourself anyway.

Note that when you cursor over the main photo on a page like this and it turns into a hyperlinky cursor, it usually means you can click on the photo to see a larger version. If you're on a tablet or phone and consequently you don't have a cursor, your screen probably isn't big enough for this to matter, though you're welcome to click on all the photos you want anyway.
