Mountain Lady's Slipper Orchid (Cypripedium montanum)
Lady's Slipper flowers are big and showy by Yosemite wild orchid standards, but they're dwarfed by their own sepals (the twirly purple bits), and the sepals themselves are dwarfed by the leaves. This entire plant was built to impress.
The small white flowers near the ground are Wood Strawberry.
