The Swinging Bridge provides one of the signature views of Upper Yosemite Falls, which starts almost half a mile above you. Cook's and Sentinel Meadows, which combine with the bridge to form a hiking loop, are just offscreen to the right.
The map below shows the locations of the bridge (marked in orange) and the falls (marked in blue), and you can also see Google Street Views of the bridge parking area (with parts of the bridge visible) and the bridge itself. In the latter street view, the promontory poking up off to the west, roughly 180 degrees from Yosemite Falls, is Cathedral Rocks, which you can see (albeit from its opposite side) sticking up behind Bridalveil Fall in this photo.
