Lupine blooming near Wawona

Lupine

Lupine isn't just Monty Python's favorite flower; it's also one of Yosemite's most widespread. Besides this variety, which covers vast acreages in the Wawona area and elsewhere, there are scraggly, forlorn little lupinettes in the high country; bright pink and gold Harlequin Lupines at various elevations; and more additional varieties than anyone can really be expected to keep track of without getting paid for it, which I certainly am not.
