Dana Meadows and Mammoth Peak
Dana Meadows is at the very eastern edge of the park, next to the Tioga Pass entrance (elevation 9,990 feet/3,045 meters), the highest point of any road in Yosemite. The road is closed for about six months of the year, but if you want a year-round view of this spot, UCSD hosts a webcam that's posted about a hundred meters from where this photo was taken.
