Meadow near the Spillway Lake Trailhead
The entire trail doesn't look like this - some of the meadows have streams running through them, too. And there are also sections of standard-issue Yosemite forest, with a century-old cabin also decorating the route. There's no mistaking this trail for the more arid eastern slope of the Sierras, just over Mt. Gibbs a mile or so to the right.
