Mt. Hoffman seen from Glacier Point

This view faces northeast, to Mt. Hoffman's southern face. May Lake lies beyond the ridge at the right side of this photo (see the trail map for confirmation). This mid-May view should remind you that if you're climbing Mt. Hoffman (10,845 feet/3,305 meters) before, say, the middle of June, be sure to wear waterproof boots and be otherwise prepared for snowy high-elevation conditions.
