The red line shows the route of the Harden Lake trail, starting from the White Wolf Lodge and ending at Harden Lake. It's 2.9 miles (4.7 km) in all.
The purple line is the White Wolf Lodge Road, leading from Tioga Road (Highway 120) to the trailhead. Technically, the trail itself is also part of the road, but cars aren't allowed on the part you'll be hiking.
The light blue line marks a fork to an alternate section of trail. It rejoins the main trail just over half a mile later.
The green line shows the route to a clearing where you can look north across the western end of the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne.
