Looking west along Green Street

Green Street is one of Bodie's most prominent residential streets, and the one left most intact after the great fire of 1932, started by a 2 1/2 year-old boy playing with matches, which wiped out much of the town. The Pomona Public Library owns a photo of the culprit with the schoolhouse and Green Street visible in the distant background.
