The word 'yurt' may conjure up images of your Mongol ancestors, but these are a much different proposition. The closest comparison is probably the tent cabins in Yosemite, but the yurts at Yosemite Pines have more amenities, including a microwave, mini-fridge, and television. Like tent cabins, though, there's no plumbing. The yurts sleep five via a full-sized futon and a bunk bed with single lower and twin upper. Rates range from $49 - $159 depending on season and time of week, and discounts are available for extended stays.
