Though nominally an RV park, Indian Flat does contain other types of lodging to go with its 25 RV sites: 25 tent sites, 5 tent cabins, and 2 cabins. It's on Highway 140 just east of the Cedar Lodge, 8 miles (13 km) from Yosemite's Arch Rock entrance and 16 miles (25 km) from Yosemite Valley. Its location isn't as prime as those of the Yosemite View Lodge and the Blue Butterfly Inn, being six miles farther outside the park, but it's still one of the closest outside-the-park locations to Yosemite Valley, and it is directly across the road from the Merced River.

* 25 RV sites; peak season rates $42 for full hookups, $37 for water/electric hookups only

* 25 tent sites; $25 per night during peak season; six people max per site; additional charges for more than two people per site

* 2 cabins with kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and TV; one cabin with 2 queen beds, one with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper; peak season rates $109 per night

* 5 tent cabins with two single cots and room for two additional occupants (bring your own bedding); no plumbing or electricity; peak season rates $59 per night
