Indian Flat is just east of the Cedar Lodge on Highway 140. If you're approaching from the west, you'll see it about 3 miles (5 km) after you go through the landslide detour. If you're coming from Yosemite, it's about 6 miles (10 km) west of the park's border, and 8 miles (12 km) west of the Arch Rock entrance gate.
