Trailhead Elevation: 4,315 feet (1,315 meters)
Elevation Gain: 200 feet (60 meters)
Since the satellite view of Carlon Falls doesn't reveal much except that there are lots of trees in Yosemite, this is as good a place as any to remind you that the hike takes place on the north side of the river. The south side has paved parking and an outhouse, but the north has the actual trail.
