Washburn Point
Among the highlights in this vista: an edge-on view of Half Dome (8,846 feet/2,696 meters); the waterfalls of the Mist Trail (Nevada Fall at top, 594 feet/181 meters, Vernal Fall below, 317 feet/96 meters); Liberty Cap (7,076 feet/2,156 meters), just to the left of Nevada Fall; and Mount Broderick (6,706 feet/2,044 meters), to the left of Liberty Cap. You can also just see the summit of Clouds Rest (9,926 feet/3,025 meters) behind Half Dome, though the views of Clouds Rest are better from just down the road at Glacier Point and probably best from the neighborhood of Olmsted Point along the Tioga Road.
