Just gorgeous.

After dealing with some very serious personal problems, I decided to have some time on my own, it was the right thing. It's so beautiful and fulfilling, after finishing the hike all problems seem smaller. It puts all in the right perspective. Do it! You won't regret it.

Beautiful Views

Our family hiked the small trails at Glacier Point. It was extremely easy (even for my 7 year old daughter). It had beautiful views as you walked along. We saw wild deer and rabbits. I was very amazed that it was quite chilly for mid-June (for Florida standards). The car trip was exceptionally scary for the winding and twisty roads without guardrails. The view made it worth the trip. I totally recommend this to anyone!

Breathtaking views!

Although I realize there’s no “hike” involved at Glacier Point, I still can’t believe no one has posted a review of this amazing place!

The views from Glacier Point are absolutely breathtaking – from the jaw-dropping view of Half Dome with Vernal and Nevada Falls to the spectacular view of Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls to the vertigo-inducing view straight down into Yosemite Valley.

It’s difficult to comprehend the scope of everything you see from Glacier Point.

And don’t be fooled into thinking that the views from nearby Washburn Point won’t be all that different from those at Glacier Point – check ‘em both out and see just how unique each vista truly is.

(Hint: The restrooms at the far end of the parking lot are almost always less crowded than those nearer the Gift Shop and Snack Stand.)
