Glacier Point at Dawn
Glacier Point, it turns out, is generally more scenic at sunset than at sunrise. The glorious sunlight that makes the High Sierra peaks glow at sunset wastes its mornings lighting up the range's eastern slope, which faces entirely the wrong direction. Glacier Point is considerably less crowded at dawn, though.
